The City of Ocean Shores is seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates for the position of Control Systems Specialist. Under the general direction of the Public Works Director, the Control Systems Specialist is responsible for design, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and the Instrumentation and Control (I&C) systems using and programming through programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for the water treatment plant, wastewater treatment plant, water pump stations, sewer vacuum stations, and sewer pump stations. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with City staff, City officials, clients, contractors, developers, other professionals, government agencies, and the general public. All other duties as assigned.
