City Engineer

Under the general direction of the Public Works Director, the City Engineer is responsible for all professional and technical municipal engineering related activities, and for the design, preparation of plans and specifications, and construction of capital improvement projects. The City Engineer also ensures compliance with City codes, ordinances, and engineering practices and standards, administering consultant contracts, coordinating policy issues through the director and supervising assigned personnel.
